Natural Stream Restoration

Natural stream restoration uses several techniques to restore streams and rivers to their original state, before humans or natural processes degraded them. Eroded streams may not function properly as ecosystems or recreational venues. There are multiple engineering techniques to help restore the stream back to its original value, providing habitats for plants and many aquatic species. The following workshops will cover the engineering techniques and practices that will help bring rivers and streams back to their original, natural state. |
